Attend the Host Planet Roadshow Cornwall – event for holiday let and short-term rental and Airbnb professionals.

The second leg of the Host Planet Roadshow will take place at the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth on Wednesday, 4 March. Tickets for the event are available now, priced just £40 each: click here to get yours. Our Event Partners for The Solent event are The Island Holiday Company and Just For You Holiday Homes.

An event for Solent holiday let hosts and property managers

The day will begin with Host Planet Founder James Varley conducting a fireside chat with Andy Fenner, Chief Executive of the Short Term Accommodation Association.

Afterwards, Lisa Roads, Founder of the Women in Short Term Rentals Community, will moderate a panel featuring Emma Kelman, Founder of The Island Holiday Company, and Justine Ireland, Founder of Just For You Holiday Homes. The panel will focus on the Isle of Wight market, regulation, ferry crossings, and various other topics.

Following this, PriceLabs will present an overview of Isle of Wight and The Solent data which reflects on 2025 and assesses the landscape for the coming year – helping hosts and property managers keep up with the latest trends and optimally set their rates.

Roundtable format will keep everyone involved throughout the day

Attendees will be part of a roundtable format where they have the opportunity to discuss challenges, opportunities, best practices, and lessons learned, while connecting with various industry brands and experts. In the afternoon, attendees will be part of a roundtable competition where they are tasked with developing a PR campaign to promote Isle of Wight ferries.

Throughout the day, a range of sponsors will be invited to contribute 10-minute knowledge bursts on a range of topics – with a clear brief to share educational and actionable tips with the audience.

Major industry brands are supporting the Host Planet Roadshow

The Host Planet Roadshow will be delivered in collaboration with the STAA, PriceLabs, and the Women in Short Term Rentals Community. Present for every step of the seven-stop Roadshow will be Hostaway, Beyond, SuperControl, and Zeal Tax. In Portsmouth, these brands will be joined by Guesty, Avantio and My Holiday Guide.
