Join the UK’s biggest short-term rental event series in Cornwall, Portsmouth, London, Nottingham, Bath, Chester, and Edinburgh throughout 2026.
Host Planet, the fastest-growing multimedia platform dedicated to the short-term rental (STR) industry, has announced the Host Planet Roadshow 2026, a seven-stop UK event series designed to educate, inspire, and connect short-term rental hosts, holiday let owners, and property managers.
In partnership with the Short Term Accommodation Association (STAA) and supported by the Women in Short-Term Rentals community, the roadshow will bring practical training, expert insights, and valuable networking to some of the UK’s most active holiday let markets. Global revenue management platform PriceLabs has signed up as the exclusive title sponsor, reinforcing its commitment to helping STR professionals maximise revenue with innovative tools and market data.
The roadshow will stop in Cornwall, Portsmouth, London, Nottingham, Bath, Chester, and Edinburgh, delivering valuable STR education in some of the UK’s most active markets. Event partners include Beach Retreats, The Island Holiday Company, Just For You Holiday Homes, Simply Owners, Curated Property, Sykes Holiday Cottages, and Adore Scotland. Each event will be tailored for independent hosts, portfolio property managers, suppliers, and newcomers eager to level up their hosting game.
A broad range of industry topics
Each Host Planet Roadshow event will cover a wide spectrum of subjects relevant to today’s short-term rental professionals. From market insights and revenue strategies to guest experience, operations, technology, regulation, and sustainability, the sessions are designed to deliver practical takeaways for hosts, property managers, suppliers, and industry partners. With contributions from experts across multiple fields, no two events will be exactly the same – ensuring fresh perspectives and ideas at every location.
What to expect
Roundtable networking with purpose: meaningful conversations that go beyond surface-level sales chats. Curated sessions, giving everyone a chance to connect.
No-pitch knowledge sharing: every sponsor, exhibitor, and speaker will focus on sharing insightful 10-minute knowledge bursts – not sales presentations.
Shape the conversation in your market: each event will bring together not just hosts and managers, but also politicians, trade bodies, media, and major brands, ensuring that local challenges are heard – and solutions are discussed.
Outcomes board and post-event impact report: we’ll capture ideas, challenges, and action points on our outcomes board during every event. These insights will feed into a post-event impact report shared with attendees, partners, and industry stakeholders – ensuring conversations don’t end when the event finishes.
"A defining moment for our sector"
“The Host Planet Roadshow is more than just an event series – it’s a nationwide movement to empower short-term rental professionals where they live and work,” said James Varley, Founder and CEO of Host Planet. “By partnering with the STAA, the Women in Short Term Rentals community, and visionary sponsors like PriceLabs, we’re building a stronger, smarter, and more connected industry.”
Andrew Fenner, Chief Executive of the STAA, added: “This is a defining moment for our sector. The Host Planet Roadshow provides an essential platform to engage, educate, and energise local STR communities. We’re proud to support this initiative and look forward to meeting hosts and operators on the ground across the country.”
Lisa Roads, Founder of the Women in Short Term Rentals community and a confirmed speaker at several roadshow stops, commented: “This is about empowering hosts in every corner of the UK. Women are playing a bigger role than ever in the growth of this sector, and I’m excited to help deliver an inclusive, value-driven event series that reflects that.”
Exhibitor and sponsorship opportunities
Leading brands from across the short-term rental industry will join the Host Planet Roadshow 2026 as multi-event exhibitors, giving attendees direct access to market-leading products, services, and expertise. Full exhibitor details will be announced soon.
Only three exhibitor spaces remain for the full seven-city roadshow, alongside a limited number of event sponsorship packages in select locations. These opportunities are ideal for companies looking to connect with hosts, holiday let owners, and STR property managers in key UK markets. All spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sharon Biggar, VP of Marketing at PriceLabs, added: “We are incredibly excited to be the title sponsor for the Host Planet Roadshow 2026. The event provides a fantastic opportunity to meet with hosts and property managers in the UK and equip them with insights on leveraging AI, market data, and dynamic pricing to scale their businesses. This is a powerhouse event series, and we're proud to work alongside Host Planet, the STAA, and Women in Short Term Rentals.”
With an expected 700–900 attendees across the seven events and strong support from major industry players, the Host Planet Roadshow promises to be a defining moment for the future of UK hosting.
